For licensed nurses

Help us get the questions right

Licensed nurses are now reviewing PreceptIQ's question bank against its source material for accuracy, clarity, and entry-level nursing scope. The review is not finished yet, and we are still accepting applications from licensed nurses who would like to help.

What the work involves

Reading draft NCLEX-style questions alongside the source material they were written from, and judging whether each one holds up clinically: whether the keyed answer is unambiguously correct, whether the distractors are defensible but wrong, whether guidance stated as absolute is actually conditional, and whether the explanation teaches the reasoning rather than just naming the answer.

It is careful work rather than fast work. Catching the item where the source itself was oversimplified matters more than volume.

Who we are looking for

  • An active RN or LPN/LVN license in any US state.
  • Recent first-hand experience of the NCLEX, or experience teaching, precepting, or tutoring students who are preparing for it.
  • Comfort saying that something is wrong, and explaining precisely why. That is the entire job.

Item-writing experience is a plus and is not required. If you have reviewed or written exam items before, mention where.
