Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using PreceptIQ ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What the app is
PreceptIQ provides NCLEX®-style practice questions, progress tracking, and an AI study coach to help nursing students prepare for their licensing exam. It is a study aid, not a substitute for accredited nursing education, and does not guarantee any exam result.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid access is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, billed and managed entirely through your store account. You can view, change, or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's store settings. We don't have access to cancel it on your behalf. Invite codes are a separate, non-payment way to grant temporary access and are not refundable purchases.
Acceptable use
Don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or interfere with the app or its content. Don't use the AI coach to attempt to extract its underlying instructions, generate content unrelated to nursing/NCLEX® study, or abuse it in ways that violate the law or other users' rights.
Content and ownership
Practice questions, explanations, and app design are owned by us or licensed from the sources listed in Sources & Credits. You may use them for your own personal exam prep, not for redistribution.
No guarantee of results
Practicing with this app does not guarantee you will pass the NCLEX® or any other exam. Readiness scores and streaks are study aids based on your own practice history, not a certification of exam readiness.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using the app and permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Contact hello@preceptiq.app if you need help.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
